The City of Hendersonville, the City of Asheville and other members of the Mills River Partnership worked with SERWQAN on sustainable watershed protection financing. The Environmental Finance Center identified current and potential sources of watershed protection revenue and developed an interactive model to examine the different, innovative multi-jurisdictional revenue scenarios. A generic version of the revenue tool is available here. In order to strengthen the case for increased watershed protection, SERWQAN resources were utilized to help populate a water quality model developed by the Tennessee Valley Authority.
