Bartow County lies in the biologically rich Etowah River Watershed. Located in the path of development reaching north from Atlanta, it's one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.The County sought assistance from the Southeastern Regional Water Quality Assistance Network with financial planning, watershed and public participation planning, and information on Transfer of Development Rights.
