EPA promotes full cost pricing as one of the four pillars of sustainable finance. What’s happening on the ground where you live?

Prices can reflect, or contradict, key policy objectives. Help inform your financial decisions about water resources with one of the largest, most comprehensive statewide rate surveys ever undertaken.

Local government water and wastewater utilities collected more than $1.6 billion last year to manage water resources across North Carolina. The Environmental Finance Center at UNC and the North Carolina League of Municipalities teamed up to study how utilities distribute the cost of clean water among different customers.

THE REPORT PROVIDES:

• Inventory of more than 350 individual rate structures
• Comprehensive policy and practices survey results for more than 250 utilities
• More than 200 pages of tables and in-depth analysis
