Project Overview

The Southeastern Regional Water Quality Assistance Network (SERWQAN) represents a network of southeastern organizations that are committed to strengthening the capacity of communities to develop and successfully implement watershed protection efforts.

The Network has received funding from the US Environmental Protection Agency to provide integrated assistance in a small number of communities and watersheds to help protect, maintain and restore water quality. The Network will work with community leaders, watershed organizations and other local stakeholders to develop skills and implement practical tools, (such as model ordinances and public process facilitation) to support watershed protection efforts.
