The EFC provides analytical and organizational support to a group of NC funding agencies that meet regularly to exchange information and ideas concerning infrastructure funding in North Carolina. Forum members include the major water and wastewater infrastructure funding agencies in North Carolina. Members meet several times a year to coordinate infrastructure funding efforts, discussing the availability of funds as well as the status of funding applications and awards for specific projects and communities across the State. In addition, the Forum has begun to hold regional Funding Fairs with the intent to enhance interaction with the local government and community leadership on deciding where and how to apply. The objective of the Forum is to maximize the efficient allocation of limited public funding for water and wastewater infrastructure in North Carolina.
